Course Outline - Preliminary dates
Course start online: upon full registration.
Course participants can begin immediately learning important veterinary chiropractic theory using the IAVC online learning platform. This allows students to learn from home at their own pace and convenience, the knowledge and background information which will optimize the learning experience during the in-person practical sessions. The combined use of learning platform theory and in-person practical hands-on sessions form an ideal framework, developing the participant’s knowledge and skills throughout the duration of the course.
Sacropelvic/Thoracolumbar Practical Session, March 11th – 15th, 2026 (Wednesday to Sunday):
Comprehensive practical sessions with dogs and horses including safety and handling of the animals, and an introduction to the quadruped chiropractic adjustment. The focus is on motion palpation, hand and body positioning, and treatment techniques of the quadruped sacropelvic and Thoracolumbar region.
Cervical Practical Session: April 24th - 26th, 2026 (Friday to Sunday):
Sacropelvic and Thoracolumbar assessment and treatment techniques will be reviewed. Comprehensive practical sessions with dogs and horses focusing on, hand and body positioning, the chiropractic adjustment and treatment techniques as well as motion palpation of the quadruped cervical spine.
Extremities Practical Session, June 18th – 21st, 2026 (Thursday to Sunday):
Cervical assessment and treatment techniques will be reviewed. Comprehensive practical sessions with dogs and horses focusing on motion palpation, hand and body positioning, the chiropractic adjustment and treatment techniques of the quadruped extremities.
Veterinary Chiropractic Integration – Practical Session, September 4th – 6th, 2026 (Friday to Sunday):
A review of all animal chiropractic assessment and treatment techniques. Comprehensive practical sessions with dogs and horses focusing on case management and treatment of the quadruped, as well as a final practical exam.
